Today I joined other volunteers from @cclusa.org for a lobby meeting with the office of @sarajacobs.house.gov. We had a chance to push for action on energy permitting reform. We also spoke in favor of passing the Fix Our Forests Act when when it comes back to the House.

- Spain has run on 100% renewables for an entire weekday, several times this year.
- California is now using 40% less natural gas than just 2 years ago.
- Britain generated more power from solar through July 2025 than in all of 2024.
- India, record 22 GW of renewables, up 57% y-on-y.

We now have a new type of climate refugee.
We have friends who live in Sarasota FL, but because of the increasing ferocity of storms and hurricanes, they leave Florida from August to November. They visit family, travel to tourist spots, but generally just go somewhere else.
