So this is what's left of my old childhood home in Altadena (to the right side of the driveway in the middle). To say I'm stunned is an understatement. And heartbroken doesn't fully convey it either. I'm actually glad my parents are here anymore to see this:

I've long had it with the "progressive" side of the left. Because time and again, they already go for the most extreme view of something, and then, when the loss happens, they always jump back to the "white working class" argument (notice it's never just "working class," meaning ALL races of such).

And this is why some white women are stunned by the large number of black women who have said, "Okay, we're out, good luck." They really thought we'd be out here again, leading the charge to protect everyone, including them, again. When it becomes even more and more clear that we are *not* . . . .
