I printed this edition of geese flying (in space? out of the sun?) and then walked out of the building to see a flock of geese in a perfect V flying low just overhead. flying north.

my papa planted a spruce by our driveway in alaska. the front yard was tundra, but the house created a windbreak, so the tree grew tall. ten years ago, they sold the house. I looked at some pics on Zillow when it came up for sale again. front yard is now a parking lot.

on spiders:
• odilon redon made some rather emotive spider prints
• a small human in my house is enthralled by spiderman
• these spiders (below) hold the world in their abdomen
• there are never too many spiders. if they come out of the basement, they are finding tasty things upstairs.
