Today in my session with a young person we thought about challenging negative automatic thoughts. We wrote down all the unpleasant / detrimental ideas we have about ourself, read them aloud, then screwed them up &threw them in the rubbish where they belong! 🚮 cathartic… #Edpsychs #CBT

Today was a good day! I had Lebanese for #lunch 🇱🇧 #falafel 🧆 #humus & #zaata 😋 5 hr work days this week as part of my gradual phased return to work so I spent most of the afternoon breaking in my new #tap #dance shoes… everything has been musical theatre & #jazzhands ever since 🤭 poor neighbours! 👐🏼💃🏼

Today my son refused to go to school unless it was in anything other than his PE kit (purely for image reasons). This afternoon he comes home with this choice of #reading book📕 A career in #fashion design surely beckons… yep he is probably going to be #gay &no, I’m not even slightly bothered by that
