This fellow has been on hunger strike over Norwegian oil and gas for 28 days. He’s asking for signatures on a petition encouraging the prime minister to meet him.

I added my name — and you should too.

#PlasticsTreaty talks fail in the early hours of the morning, after a tense all-night session behind closed doors.

Member States and observers have already left to catch flights and the hall feels empty this morning.

No text, but we’re still here at 1:30. Strange things are afoot at the #PlasticsTreaty negotiations.

Chair of the #PlasticsTreaty negotiations: "August 14th is not a deadline for our work, it's a deadline for when we must deliver."

But the negotiation looks like this, what will result? 🤔

And UNEA-5.2 is where the mandate was adopted, so INC-5.2 will be where we get a treaty, right?

Today, I’m starting a new treatment for Crohn’s—it’s a drug that wasn’t available when I was diagnosed 15 years ago—and I’m eternally grateful for it. I hope I’ll start to feel better soon.

But it’s terrifying to start a new medication with an administration that’s trying to dismantle the system.

I’m grateful for a round of vaccines before I start a new course of immunosuppressants. I’m also terrified of what this new Administration will do to our public health system.

Vaccines save lives.

Do we love our historic house? Yes.

Do we love maintaining it? No.

This looks like the year of chimney, roof, foundation, boiler, and stove repairs and I hate it.

(This is our original, 1923 fireplace, the cause of today’s headache.)
