On Wednesday, I saw someone say to check in on the young people in your life and I immediately called my younger brother. He had seen the video and was pretty distraught over it, and really happy to talk to someone. So to anyone seeing this - check in on the young people in your life.
unfortunately we have to assume a TON of kids have seen the Kirk shooting video over the last few days, what with how minimally the big platforms seem to be moderating it out

There are 234 petrochemical industry lobbyists in these plastics treaty negotiations. Polluters should not be allowed to write the rules. We've already had 70 years of self-regulation by the petrochem industry; we're here working on a treaty because that has had disastrous consequences for us all.
