Zakaria points out that months ago the United States was by far the dominant economy in the world, with the strongest network of allies. Trump starting trade wars against friend and foe alike ends it. The result will be a United States that is less prosperous, less dominant and more isolated.

In most parliamentary systems governments fall because entire parties walk out en masse. Individual MPs breaking with their party leader aren’t the typical way things go down. Except maybe in the UK but the UK is a eccentric in many ways

Yep. Water wasters. Urban users use about a quarter of the water from the Colorado river and farms use 75%. Nuts in CA and cotton in AZ. Both wasting water in the desert
