It is clear from the latest effort to defy the law that the courts are the best stronghold we have left. The courts using US Marshals can arrest those in contempt including government lawyers. All this would not have been possible with the government shut down. Wake up, my friends,

Shut down or not? We all agree that the Rep bill is a monumental piece of shit which in passage will hurt many Americans, but the Reps will have to eat its consequences. If the government shuts down, so will all judicial activity where as I see it, we are holding some of the shitslide at bay.

The wave of Democrats criticizing Democrats is making me sick. It’s like they, and I include Kos readers, are blithely regurgitating Republican propaganda. Progress is being made in the oceans of chaos created by Trump and his thugs. That is what we should celebrate.
