The arresting of people protesting about the Israeli slaughter of Palestinians is an increasing horror story. Cursing the horrendous activities of the Israelis cannot be called anti-Semitic. It may well be that a majority of Jewish Americans hold the same feelings of outrage.

It is clear from the latest effort to defy the law that the courts are the best stronghold we have left. The courts using US Marshals can arrest those in contempt including government lawyers. All this would not have been possible with the government shut down. Wake up, my friends,

Shut down or not? We all agree that the Rep bill is a monumental piece of shit which in passage will hurt many Americans, but the Reps will have to eat its consequences. If the government shuts down, so will all judicial activity where as I see it, we are holding some of the shitslide at bay.

The demos in congress have been mugged. If the approve this totally shitty budget, they will have to eat it along with the Reps. If they shut down the government, they will have shut down the judiciary, which is the only thing we have to hold these jerkwads to account
