Dracunculus vulgaris:Dragon Arum, Dragon's tongue.
It stinks- insects like it.
Come and see, it only lasts a few days
in contrast the Rambling Rector rosebeloved of bees
both flowers stay only briefly

Really pleased with the colour of paint with the first coat on the inside of the Orangery. Changing the glass on this 1723 frontage has been a loooong time coming. But it's looking good @oliverarchitecture @ljconservation and @finnisscotttrust.. all worth it

These particular tulips along tje North Wall Border, seem to have peaked quite early.. but my were they luminous in the sun today

Sunday morning here at the gardens from a volunteer's point of view. Lots of greyhounds to meet, their owners keen to try our new coffee, our very friendly robin, keen to try our new cakes and shelves of 'new' books to browse through. Not a bad way to spend a few hours.😊
