I used to have a coworker like that. After spending months fixing his errors, I finally snapped a pencil into multiple pieces, taped it to paper with the colleagues name on it and told mgmt 'do something or else I will. I'm past my snapping point.' My message was clear and they finally replaced him.

I lost my sister-in-law today. She was with my brother for 17 years. I'm saddened about losing her and at the same time worried how my brother will survive without her. The two were so dependent on each other.

How did you get your dogs trust? Our dog has been with us 18 months. He was abused from 6 weeks up until his 1st bday, then he was dumped at a shelter. Adopted and returned many times, we were his last chance. He's improving but still attacks if we try basic care such as grooming or drying him off

His looks reminds me of a border terrier we had. Our dog Joost was an absolute sweetheart, smart as all hell, his leash never got accidentally wrapped around a pole or tree and he lived to be almost 18 years old.

Sadly our dog that was previously abused would attack us if we tried to hug him. After 18 months we can now play fetch with him and sometimes he curls up against us but still doesn't want us to reach over to touch him. Drying off or dog grooming is still a scary nightmare for all of us.

I'm hoping/waiting for our dog to be that way. He was abused by his first owner, they never groomed him, trained him or cared for him. He still tries to bite us, especially if startled or we try to dry him after walking in the rain. He hates grooming of any kind. It's not easy but we're trying.

Rain season is officially here which means our rescue dog turns into demon dog. His first owner never cared for him, brushed him, dried him. They had no problem hitting and kicking him. He's been with us 18 months, there's improvements but he still hates any type of grooming or drying him off.

With lots of baby steps, our previously abused rescue dog is slowly starting to trust us. He still growls unexpectedly but he doesn't try to bite us now.

Our built in oven quit on us and replacing it would mean we'd also need a new stove since they're connected. I decided the quickest and cheapest replacement would be an airfryer oven. I got the Cuisinart Tri-zone. Since this is my first airfryer, advise and recipes are welcome.

Yesterday was a good day with our rescue dog. By bribing him with chicken filet we were able to brush most of his hair, still not his front paws. He was abused his 1st yr and still is afraid of being touched so he growls and tries to bite as defense. We've had him for 6 months now.

Although I haven't gad much chance to just walk around and take pictures recently, I do enjoy photography. I took this picture with my cellphone while I was out walkingour dog.
