For some reason, I've been drawn to various mushroom subreddits. I'm shocked how many people first questsion are 1) Can I eat this? and 2) My dog ate this, is that OK?
First is natural, mushrooms are yummy. But the second? Been a dog owner most of my life, never had this happen.

I feel a bit strange linking to buzzfeed about this, but this article is easily consumable. I want to add a bit of my personal story. In 1972, my Dad worked for IBM in middle management and we were being moved to France. Then on the day of the move, my Dad died suddenly.

Look, I don't want to diagnose from afar. I'm not qualified and lack any kind of objective data. However, I find it fascinating that these high functioning Dunning-Krugerians consistently seem to believe "I don't like it" equates to "criminal" or "evil".
Imagine saying this about an agency that has helped millions of people around the world avoid malaria, obtain clean water, and gain access to food & health care. Especially when you’re the world’s richest man & your net worth is something like 20 times this agency’s annual budget. What a foul soul.

How you see yourself will change over time as you learn and grow the you’ll see the same facts from a different perspective. I’m in my 50’s and still learning who I am. Be open to new things. Keep doing what works, stop doing what doesn’t.

Same here, as long as it's not being used to as a way to target out-groups or individuals, increase jail time, reduce civil rights or as part of some overt power grab.
I know that's implied by "good" in the original post. But these days it doesn't hurt to be overly specific.

This Pittsburgh cold snap has me thinking back to the winter of 93/94. There were a couple days of -20F windchill. Being from the North Country, NY I was one of the few people on campus with proper cold weather gear. I made almost $200 running to Skibo (rip) to pick up snacks/cigs for folks.
