How about the fact that covid is here to stay? New strains being found that are harder to treat. People who have compromised immune systems, lung diseases, even cancer wear masks to help protect them. I think that Covid just made people more aware of masks.
Just how does it hurt or affect you?
December 7, 2025 at 8:16 PM
Not true! People with compromised immune systems wear masks in public and have for forever. Anyone with major lung problems and cystic fibrosis wear masks in public. Your cold, is their pneumonia, your pneumonia is their hospitalization struggling for their lives. Wearing masks is not something new.

People tend to think that I enter DV convos to be all know it all.
I actually enter them to correct misinformation & to give help wherever I can.I could talk all day about what DV is. Most think it's only violence. There is so much more.
Yes, I've seen things that haunt me.Saving someone is worth it.

Thank you! We are all Volunteers & have had DV affect us in a personal way.
It's hard, but if they can't speak for themselves, my team & will be their voices.
Again, Thank you! My cousins were much younger (in their 40s) Tara & Samantha,I tell their stories so others know that DV happens everywhere

That is an awful thing to have to deal with! I'm glad that you haven't got it. A dr told me years ago that my body sees some meds (and that's a game of roulette) as invaders and immediately gets rid of it, so many meds don't work. Antibiotics? Forget it. Migraine meds, a big no.
I feel for you

Yes! But, I'll continue to support and be their voice.
I had two younger girl cousins who were murdered by their abusers after the left. One went clear across the country, and he found her and murdered her.
I will do my best to protect others.

I agree with all you said.
He seems to be being given absolute power. If any of us did the things that he has, we'd never see the light of day.
Thank you for your insight.
Following!

As for me, I didn't have a clue that he brought it home. After I knew, I stayed home, wore a mask when I had to go out, and used a massive amount of sanitizer. But mostly, I stuck to home until the lockdown was lifted & still wore masks when I went out.
I just wanted to clarify this comment!

My husband brought it home! He works at a gold mine, it's a "man" camp setting in Alaska. People fly to get to work. They were required to wear masks & were given covid tests before they got on the bus to go to the site. Being in tight quarters didn't help keep covid out. Being on planes didn't help!

That was a disgusting display of a "President" bullying another countries President. Trump resulted to insulting, calling names & yelling, talking over President Zelenskyy.
What a weak bully Trump is. Yet, President Zelenskyy kept his honor instead of resulting to giving Trump what he deserved.

That's possible! I used to get pneumonia every year March/April. I was told that I probably had a mild case of covid instead of pneumonia in March 2020. I haven't had a cold or any respiratory illness since.
My Dr & I decided to forgo the vax because he was worried I might have an adverse reaction.
July 16, 2025 at 11:43 PM
Actually, the reason I called it a jab is because that's what my Australian dr calls any injections & it just became a habit after a while. A couple of the phlebotomists say, just a little jab now. As for me, it wasn't a brag about not getting the vax. I wasn't willing to risk my life getting it.

California! I was born in the Sacramento Valley.

California should withhold all funds from the feds. California doesn't need the feds.

I am a Domestic Violence Advocate and THIS ⬆️

To go to court with a client & watch the perp get off or just get a slap on the wrist is beyond devastating. I see their faces fall. The look in their eyes is extremely hard. You can see all hope leave & see them disconnect & quite often, tears flow.

💚💚✌️
July 16, 2025 at 9:31 PM
I am, and Thank you! 💚
I find it strange that I don't get colds or any respiratory illnesses. Thank you for being kind, I appreciate it.
July 16, 2025 at 9:31 PM
Well, my Dr.advised against it due to the way my body tends to react to certain meds/vaxs & didn't want to take that risk. I got a measles vax as a kid & ended up in the hospital, I almost died.
I stayed home, lots of sanitzing.
Stayed away from vulnerable people, etc.
July 16, 2025 at 9:27 PM
I'm so sorry! I watched those I love suffer with covid. 12 died. Half of them had the Vax and boosters, the other half didn't.
My niece went from being a very healthy, active 30 year old who graduated University for radiology to having all kinds of long-term covid issues.

They think everyone is stupid and we don't pay attention.
If it is repeated enough times, they hope it becomes fact.
July 16, 2025 at 5:15 AM
Thank you! I personally don't see a reason to be offended if someone wears a mask out in public. It doesn't hurt anyone if they do. I just think of masks as being no different than any accessory someone wears. Some people get all bent out of shape if they see it. Smh

Covid. So many lives lost. So many people with long-term covid.
It's mutating and adapting again.
July 16, 2025 at 4:41 AM
my dear friend has cystic fibrosis, and she wears a special mask. she'd never survive covid.
July 16, 2025 at 4:38 AM
he and my niece have long-term covid. It sucks.
He gave it to our cats, and yes, I know several people who lost their cats, dogs, and birds when they got sick when their humans had covid. All 5 of our cats died within 3 months.
