it turns out i DID have nearly enough art to fill out one of these-- if i pulled from my fic illustrations, which makes half of this so unrepentantly kinky that i'm posting it from this account!

happy end of 2025! it's been a fantastic return to creativity for me, despite its challenges!

so i'm really demi for hua cheng sneezing (just like xie lia-- *shot*) so i actually don't think about the rest of them much,,, if at all,,,,, o__o;;;;;

this was my brief mention of fengqing headcanons tho ^^;
a screenshot of a passage from cattewife's "recognition" on ao3: "Xie Lian has trouble with names and faces after so many years, but sometimes he can still remember someone's sneeze centuries after they've parted, if he knew them well. Mu Qing used to have a long, high-pitched "AHHT--" followed by a strangled, "--dtchuu-!" while Feng Xin used to make Xie Lian jump every time with a roaring "HAESSHOOO," out of nowhere. "

three different sequences of hua cheng sneezing; 1) hua cheng in his true form leaning over with a big sneeze vaguely caught on his arm, before stifling several more into his fist 2) "san niang" female form hua cheng looking irritated before she pinches her nose and stifles many rapid sneezes in a row 3) "san lang/xiao hua" form hua cheng builds up dramatically with a helpless look on his face before launching into a fit of unrestrained but more kittenish sneezes.

or, in some cases, when your boyfriend appears out of nowhere and startles you out of it!

two very rough sketches: in the first, xie lian and hua cheng are depicted kissing loosely, with hua cheng shirtless, showing his tattoos and the very edges of top surgery scars, and xie lian in just his binder. xie lian has a big smile on his face as he rubs his nose against hua cheng's, while hua cheng is wincing and hitching unsteadily at the agitation to his sensitive nose in the second sketch, the camera has rotated to show xie lian biting his lip and blushing with hearts in his eyes, holding hua cheng as hc pitches into his hand and xl's shoulder with a helpless sneeze.

hua cheng is having a rough go of it this allergy season

(and he might... have gotten a little more than he bargained for!)
