Looks like this is one from June. I do not see a link to a new one on the homepage. Not sure if this is a tech issue, or intentional, but wanted to mention.

I know this is a little outside of your wheelhouse, but would you ever consider covering something like Shanghai Blossoms, Wang Kar-Wai's series that is being rolled out on Criterion Channel?

My own complaint about this article: you missed a great pun opportunity in the first paragraph: after you finished discussing your novel, you should have written that it was time to stop "novel-gazing". Otherwise, it was perfect. 🙂

Worked! Thanks Enzo.

@guardianenzo.bsky.social Not sure if others are having this issue, but when I try to comment on this, Wordpress tells me there is an internal server error.

I got the link to the Google Drive. Thanks Sam!

Also, I cleared my cache and this did not help (I made sure I clicked on the second email link where it was supposed to be fixed)

@animeherald.com When I click on the email link to download the files, it takes me to a pendora webpage, but when I click on the button to download each file, it thinks for a moment, then nothing happens. On mac. Tried Chrome, incognito chrome, and safari. Any insight on the issue?

I ordered every single show. Just so I know, if I had only pulled over my top 10, would those get the same weight as my top 10 will all ordered? Also, if there is something I really do not want to get reviews, is it worse if it do not order it at all, or if it is at the bottom of my long list?

Yay! Thank you.

Yay! It took many months, but so happy this one finally came to fruition. Hopefully some others help me get to episode 2 faster.

Looks good! One question: at the risk of angering @sam-animeherald.bsky.social, my preference would be to get the digital copy of this. I did not see that option in the shop. Is it possible to preorder that?

Agreed. I usually prefer the Japanese over the English, but Delicious in Dungeon was a wonderful exception.

Just red your one for today. Thanks for pointing me to Women Wearing Shoulder Pads. As it happens the intersection of Almodovar and Julio Torres by way of Tuca & Bertie is exactly made for me!

Huggto. Really great queer rep in it.

Ha! I guess I have to catch up to YOU then.

Not sure if you are in the mood, but after Gundam watch you might consider Macross. While you have to “find” the original series, it really feels of its time, sci-fi mecha anime series of the mid 70s-80s, in a good way. So far so good for me.

Looks like your updates worked for RSS. I got my patreon notification and then saw it pop up in the RSS feed within like 30 minutes, like normal.
July 9, 2025 at 4:03 PM
today's article has not showed up in the RSS feed. However, the Rock Lady one did show up eventually. Looking at the time it shows in the raw XML, it appears that Rock Lady showed up in the feed at 3:27 PM PT (assuming it is timezone-adjusted). So there is some sort of significant delay there.

Not sure why, but this article is not showing up in the RSS feed for some reason.

Love this line: "a group who could literally trip over happiness and fulfillment and emerge only with scuffed knees and fresh demons". Don't we all!
May 23, 2025 at 9:31 PM
Yeah. Exactly. I don't really carer about advertising what I have watched, I just want to remember what I have watched. Similarly, I rate things because writing those numbers initially help me settle my feelings on something and later it helps me access the emotions I felt when I first watched it.

So happy to see this one to the end. I am just relieved there is a lot more Doremi left to keep the consistent dose of happiness coming.

Great article! Makes me wonder, how it would look to commission something like this for another One Piece arc. Obviously it would vary depending on the arc, but I am think a similar essay-style write up on the themes.
