THERE ARE NO DRONES. What people are posting are pictures of commercial aircraft- either planes or helicopters- flying legally in our airspace. They are blinking red and green lights, which is required by law. So for heaven’s sake, stop freaking out!

Here’s the thing: polar ice controls the jet stream. Colder climates mean lots of stable polar ice, which keeps the jet stream tight around it, and the really cold arctic air stays at the pole.
