Not the droid you're looking for. (she/her)
Only one present, but she's worth all of the gifts in the world.

Many years ago (2009, in fact), I sponsored @jayfurr.bsky.social in a Susan Komen walk, and he sent me a bear who I named Susan (after a friend who sadly died from triple negative breast cancer not long thereafter). She disappeared for a while, then recently resurfaced with a burn on her bottom

Due to @spacefolder.bsky.social's illness we were unable to go see the colors in Upstate NY this year, but the autumn finally caught up to us. Our across-the-street neighbor's tree is brilliant in this morning's sunlight.

I read this to @spacefolder.bsky.social and asked if it sounded familiar. He said, "Yes. I've learned to interpret his nibbles." The "him" in question:

The puppy of my heart, though we couldn't keep her due to my husband's allergies. The first picture is from just after the rescue I volunteered for took her in. The second is from her meeting rescue kitties. The third is her after her real colors came in. Sasha never met strangers, just friends.

You might have a Tony, but we have a Nathan. He is a very big boy, super soft, and deaf. He has no fear of vacuum cleaners (or anything else). Despite being deaf he is a very expressive talker, leading me to believe he lost his hearing rather than being born that way.

Those are two gorgeous cats (I have a weakness both for all-black and all-gray kitties). They remind me of my Jenny and Zoë, even if the former is calico rather than gray.

Three for one: all-black Zoë, calico Jenny, and buff tabby Nathan.

Our tree this year and a very special present.

I've missed you! I'm so glad you're considering relocating to here. The medium-haired buff tabby is Nathan, the short-haired calico is Jenny, and the long-haired solid black kitty is Zoë. It is exceedingly rare to get them all in the same picture; Jenny and Zoë love cuddling but Nathan is a loner.

Jenny is Zoë's guardian tonight.

This year for the second time I'm fundraising for a Suicide Prevention Walk in Albuquerque with a my employer's team.
This picture is from last year's walk.

If anyone would like to contribute or share this post, I'd be extremely grateful. The link to my page is supporting.afsp.org/index.cfm?fu...

It's ginger cat appreciation day. In loving memory of Sean, our little lion and puppy cat, in a picture taken by @spacefolder.bsky.social.

In honor of our buff (honorary ginger) tabby, Nathan, whose exploits will most certainly end up here.
