Canadian Childless Cat Lady, fostering cats and kittens for my local cat rescues since my soul-kitty crossed the rainbow bridge in May 2020. I now serve 5 “foster fails” named Curly, Lucy, Foxy, Charm and most recently, Nova.
Even Canadian press is sane-washing. Quite the low-key headline for the shit-show. “He says economy is strong” they say - with zero indication that him saying it doesn’t make it true!

It’s been a long time since I bought one. I’m retired and no longer managing a team. And even when I was still working, I worked from home (as did most of my team, especially during the pandemic) so I started buying them online instead. I could easily send them by email to the recipient.

7 or 8 years ago when I lived in Kitchener, I bought a gift card at Walmart and they supposedly activated it. But it didn’t work for the recipient. Took it back and they said sometimes they’re replaced with bad ones even though no signs of tamper. They suggested taking one from the back of the row.

Yes! Especially the brachycephalic ones. Even though I’m a 100% cat person, I feel the same about breeding dogs. I follow Kitten Lady and she/her husband have a cat they rescued who had a severe cleft palate. He had surgery for that and then later nose surgery to help him breathe. He’s a Persian.

We watch that one most years too! And the occasional sappy Hallmark-style movie. We have a couple of favourites of those including Justin Hartley’s “The Noel Diary” and the Christmas Chronicles movies are fun. Hope Dandy enjoys her first viewing but I suspect she will be enjoying the blankets.

Even though he created the problem and lied about who pays and that it won’t cause higher prices he wants to “fix” his own problem and then take credit for lowering prices. And MAGA idiots will believe he helped them and made their lives better

Scrolling just now and came across this just as hubby and I decided to rewatch all of the Daniel Craig Bond movies. We had talked about how to make a new Bond movie after Bond died. I suggested the same as you - make them set earlier in time! But l also like that idea that it’s a cover passed along.

I get you. We foster cats for our local shelter. We rarely have a time when there isn’t at least one foster in the house. We can generally keep the craziness confined to the foster spaces in the finished basement but sometimes, like recently, 4 fosters had the run of the house with our 5 cats!

I switched to a Canadian made software for my taxes earlier this year, dumping American made Turbotax after using it for at least 17 years.

Thank you for sharing. Such scary stuff especially at only 26 years old. I’m so glad you survived it all. Because you did, Spike has a great life and you literally saved Dandy’s life.
