3. It shows the opposition that people oppose them. It shows those leaders who are on the front lines who they are fighting for. It shows each other that we have numbers, we aren't alone in wanting a world where people aren't left to starve, be sick, be abused, mistreated, or considered subhuman.

2. And if we can organize for this, we can organize for something bigger. A movement starts small and grows. It must build momentum. Please consider every small act of resistance in terms of the larger whole. Its like saying "my one vote doesn't matter" when it absolutely can.

1. While I do totally understand the point of view that not spending money one day isn't really going to effect the bottom line of a giant corporation what is does do is make a blip. And if it makes a blip it shows that we can organize.
