Gee, sorry.Spouse is a Maya anthropologist/ archaeologist with current challenges. Reads traditional books only. Enjoys regular tv programs that are factual and based in true, sort of, science that focuses on his interests including astronomy, math, archaeology etc.

I usually find that when that happens, with writing something too, that it’s best to lay off for a while, if possible. The committee stuff can also be exhausting. Rewarding, but not always acknowledged.

Sorry. Lost 4/6 dogs to different cancers. Seems to be a common diagnosis. My dogs really didn’t exhibit symptoms until pretty late. 2 were quite old for big dogs, 12 and 14. Hope it goes well.

One of my clinical rotations in the late 1960s was at
Goldwater Memorial in NYC. Many of the patients were said to have experienced long term neurological effects of the 1918 pandemic., in wheelchairs, aphasic etc.

For many, being civil is performative in nature so they can get what they want. They may lack any sense of morality, knowing the difference between right and wrong, or don’t give a shit about other people.
