How lovely. I’ll add this word to my collection.
I learned a new word -
Komorebi 木漏れ日 (pronounced kō-mō-leh-bē) Literally, “sunlight leaking through trees,” it describes the beauty and wonder of rays of light dappling through overhead leaves, casting dancing shadows on the forest floor. I can feel some new work coming on…

Also in bloom. Don’t love all this happening indoors, but when you move from a subtropical climate and can’t think of leaving them behind . . .

Loong Tone Red Catleya is now in full bloom, and the scent is lovely and perfuming the orchid room.

It's going to be a very wet night but the Great Tit still takes a bath just now.
Tiptop plumage is the way forwards.

The hummingbird feeds on the sweetness that life offers; we should do the same, always seeking what makes us happy. 💫

There's an old Irish way of saying "home is where the heart is" that goes is leor don dreoilín a nead. It means "the nest is enough for a wren"

A little sea turtle I found upside down on Bonita Beach. I returned her to the Gulf of Mexico but we were experiencing a red tide and her chance of survival wasn’t promising.
