My one interior design tip is to cut an x in ping pong balls with an xacto knife and put a handful on your Christmas tree lights. It's charming.

I'm not kidding about the pictures
A gift tag-shaped ornament that says "Merry" at the top. The family photo--which is very low resolution--is off center, with the top of my husband's head cut off. It has our names at the bottom in a near-unreadable script font with my husband's name first, even though I am older. A photo of my kids on a bench next to a giant anthropomorphic Jelly Belly, except the jelly bean only partially appears, and my son is making a weird face. The same photo is also on the reverse, but cropped slightly differently.

Can I leave my Halloween candles out for Christmas, or is this more of an Easter crossover?
A white taper candle with red wax dripping down the sides, kind of blood-like. I would point out that I was too cheap to buy the pre-made ones, so I bought some plain candles and added the red myself (because of course I have a sealing wax kit).

WHY did they decide to have the AI "talk" to us in first person singular? They have no self! I am used to my credit card company using the royal "we" but this is offputting. I hate it.

Look at this screenshot (that I stole from someone). There is NO WAY there are books in those boxes! Books are heavy! These boxes are basically floating!

There was literally one thing I insisted we do while in London.
Me, in front of St Paul's cathedral in a read shweater in 2004. Whoever took the picture cut off the top of the building. Me, recreating the photo 21 years later, this time in a gray shweater. The person who took the photo isn't as close to me but it's in the same spot, and it has the top of the cathedral this time.

In honor of the Mariners sellinf post season tickets for the first time since 2001, I dug up my ticket stub from the NLCS that year.
A physical ticket stub for the National League Championship Series game on Tuesday, October 16 at 1 pm (I had to skip my lit two classes that afternoon.) For section 304, row 10, it cost but twenty eight dollars. That is approximately $51 adjusted for inflation to today, per in2013dollars.com.

The ingredients: 1 pkg yeast 1 1/3 c warm water 1 T sugar 1/2 t salt 3 1/2 to 4 c flour ___ 1 egg 1 T water 2 T coarse salt The instructions are mostly gone, the bottom of the page being ripped off like a movie prop treasure map. It calls for an oven temp of 425, and they ended up taking 12 or 14 minutes.
