I'm still reading Heartless Hunter because it's a physical book and I'm short on time, but I did finish Spark of the Everflame (audiobook) and it was SO GOOD. I wanted to go right onto book 2, but I am in a book club and we're reading another book.

I have Onyx Storm but can't bring myself to read it yet. I started Heartless Hunter by Kristen Ciccarelli instead, knowing book 2 will be out in February. I'm about 54 pages in and it's really good! My last semester of college starts Monday, however, and I know my reading will be hindered a little.

All my fellow readers! Who else is getting hyped up for Onyx Storm (Rebecca Yarros), Jan 21?

Just finished When the Moon Hatched by Sarah A. Parker and if you like fae/elves and dragons (though this comes in later) this is a must read! It IS slowish at first but it also might've just been me (I've been exhausted)

I am finishing Two Twisted Crowns by Rachel Gillig tonight. It is the sequel to One Dark Window. These are MUST READS. Amazing books. I look forward to her next book in May, The Knight and the Moth.

Finished One Dark Window VERY by Rachel Gillig early yesterday and didn't get to read very much of anything. I had shopping and a cake to make, then a party. I HIGHLY recommend this duology.

So I am listening to When the Moon Hatched by Sara A. Parker. I'm only 6% of the way through it. It's over 700 pages (over 20 hours of audio). So far, the story is super interesting. The narrator however...we'll see. I've heard she grows on you, but I thought it was AI at first. (no offense to her)

I'm still getting used to StoryGraph, but I'll be honest, I've now been using that, plus GoodReads (because I have for a decade or more), and BookBub. I like following friends on GoodReads...hopefully they'll do that on StoryGraph. What is/are your currents?

If you're really into reading, but are like me and can't justify paying a ton of money on new books only for them to sit, check out your local library and see if they use the Libby App! It's free and you can get ebooks or audiobooks!

My longest book this month was Legendary (Caraval book 2) at 451 pages.

I miss this show. Might watch it again. Heard they might revive it...I really hope they do. screenrant.com/house-reviva...

Who else is spending a lot of the day reading other than socializing and eating? Happy Thanksgiving!

My current book lineup. I'm listening to a Mirror Mended and will be listening to Finale when that's done. I'm reading Don't Forget to Write and need to read One Dark Window or at least some of it by December 1st for an online book club I'm in.

Just finished "The Book of Doors" by Gareth Brown. It was AMAZING. I highly recommend it. I like books with magic and fantasy. This wasn't too heavy in it but I mean it deals with magical books.

If you haven't seen the documentary "Bad Faith" you should probably check it out. It's on Amazon Prime Video. (but I think other platforms are streaming it too)

Hopefully this pic fits. I didn't create the list. If you are going to be donating this holiday season, these are things to keep in mind.

Now is the time to plant seeds that need cold stratification if you're in or around Zone 6 in the US. Common Milkweed (Asclepias syriaca) is one of the plants that need it! And the Monarch Butterflies really need it! If you have a natural area, and you can plant some seeds, do it this fall.
