I agree with John Pavlovitz—Still supporting him is an act of violence against vulnerable people.

You wouldn’t vacation in Dachau in 1935. Don’t vacation in Florida in 2025.
We’re calling for a Florida boycott over the inhumane “Alligator Alcatraz” detention site. Cancel your family vacation and choose a different destination this summer.

I care less about Signal chats and more about the blacksite offshore concentration camps we're sending random people to without any semblance of a trial, so I'll be interested to see if the national media can rub their bellies and pat their heads at the same time this week. Historically they can't.

People spend a lot of time wondering why the left is worse at using independent media to control the national narrative.

A useful exercise is to ask why the left is also worse at selling snake oil and pyramid schemes, because I think the reasons are basically exactly the same.

13K+ people cheering wildly for skaters of all nationalities because we recognize the humanity of each and every one of them—why?—because we see them hugging and high-fiving each other as they fiercely compete. We truly have so much potential be much more than we are.

I am a lifelong Dem in a red state so I have no representation. I am dismayed by the apathy of the elected Dems. Would there be any value in a mass exodus from the Democratic Party—switching affiliation to Independent?
