Completely agree with this. The second time under new regime we’ve had an Ofsted announcement without the plans behind it. And the timing is so off.

Aim for five a day. Especially ‘quiet’ kids or those who have got lots of negative home comms from school in the past.

This is so true and important.
The school year is often punctuated by the false urgency of people making money out of schools. This time of year, particularly if schools haven’t done as well with outcomes as they would have liked, can play on school leaders’ fears. Take a breath. Resist the seduction of cruel optimism.

I wasn’t sure about making the move over to this platform as I think I’d rather reduce the amount of SM in my life, but this post has made me realise it was good decision. I’ve missed tales of the little legend that is B. 😍
At the zoo. Just asked B what the long name for a rhino is. She said RHINOTRON which it absolutely should be.
