Productivity halted cos apparently sitting on hard wooden stools is causing pain through hips, spine & is extremely uncomfortable
Foot flared up already so needing stick to walk
Is this laziness?
No, it’s being limited by environment & #chronicpain that is dynamic & cannot be predicted
Pacing helps

I will likely 💀 on this hill
Not everyone is able to work including disabled people
That includes mental health, autism, adhd, invisible disabilities

PIP is not an out of work benefit

We cannot work with systemic failures, access to work cuts, inaccessibility or lack of support

Merry Christmas

Another reason I will be less than useless at work:
Migraines, blurred vision & fatigue are unpredictable
As is pain
All needs investigating
Apparently experiencing trauma and mental health crisis from work with a lack of support for autism and mental health is not enough for the trolls on TikTok 🙃

Trolls on TikTok are getting more and more unhinged 🙃
The topic of discussion autism, adhd, mental health especially anxiety and welfare
Btw
My anxiety is tied to the environment and sensory processing, and in autism
Constant state of anxiety 24/7 where anything esp. unexpected can make me spiral

Not impressed by Vue Cinema in W12 shopping centre who declined toilet access despite me having a need to access the toilet urgently, apparently you can’t go through without a ticket 🤨
There was no public toilet in the centre or the place I’d just been
Whether spoons was the alternative which was 🤢

Flu jab didn’t happen cos they ran out 😕
Started Christmas shopping at least
Otherwise very tired
Low on spoons

All the excitement this week 👨‍⚕️
Monday - hospital 🏥 called me said, we have space to see you tomorrow at orthopaedics for your shoulder (multiple referrals into different departments in progress 🙃)
Confirmed restricted, odd fellow, other than talking over me he is a very good surgeon apparently

Disabled folk…

You never have to explain yourself to ableists.

You never have to apologise for existing of claiming the benefits you are entitled to… nor do you have to justify it.

You don’t owe them any information about your life or condition(s).

Challenging Tories may have been a bad idea 😬
They punch down
But
Disabled people who cannot work, who do work, who need extra support, those with mental health, those with autism or adhd, those who need universal credit to boost wages, those who need motabilty
You are all valid, you are all genuine

IMDb critics are extremely harsh
Average 26/100
Couple of people even put 0!

Went to see #fivenightsatfreddys2 today

I thought it was a solid film
Good amount of suspense and jumpy bits

I gave it 7/10

Over the last year, myths about the Motability scheme have spread online and in the right wing media. Now, some of it is government policy.

In today’s Guardian, I set about finding the facts and why the idea of “free cars for the disabled” has taken hold. www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

Starmer’s ailing government is happy to pursue ideas like cutting Motability, but all ministers will do is damage lives and themselves, says Guardian columnist Frances Ryan

Orthopaedics for shoulder
Slightly irritating that he was talking over me
MRI needed
Follow up 15weeks
Also, attempted to be productive before seeing a film
Managed 10 mins/2 items off to do list; then ran out of energy
Amount I can do varies depending on the day
Slow progress
Work? Not possible rn

Mental illnesses absolutely can be disabilities.

They can be long term & chronic.

They can severely affect someone’s life & ability to manage, as well as the support they need to live.

They can prevent someone from being able to work.
