When I was 8, my friend died of a heart defect. I did research on DNA and RNA to help find new safe drugs. Now I work as a chemist, making sure drugs are the right dose and without impurities.
Somebody else won't loose their friend at 8 because of what I and my friends do.

This hurts. Not just people in treatment or people around them at risk.
This hurts EVERYONE because this is how you create drug resistance.
Historical data indicates there will probably be an increase in TB and malaria and increases in poverty and pregnancy complications in these areas.
