A Northern Cat at home in The Urban Wilderness.
Tried that with our bird feeders, only resulted in hot-sauce-loving squirrels 🌶️🐿️

To your point, Eric, it really is not a duty or a job that must be done. Consider the Golden Rule: post unto others as ye would have others post unto you. And be free of the heavy mantle of sky cop, it's a thankless role.

Such fun -- and such intricate word play!

Beautiful, tragic and haunting.

What a lovely version -- much folkier than Lonnie Donegan's version, which skiffles it up. Fun fact: The Quarrymen sang 'Putting On The Style' on July 6, 1957, the day that John Lennon met Paul McCartney.

I think it was an insert, backed with the lyrics. Man, it's hard to remember that far back 😹

Fun recollection: back in the '80s I had the pleasure of meeting Jonathan while proofreading the liner notes on his "Rockin' and Romance" album. Lovely guy, and he referred to himself in the third person.

And he's already mentioned philately:

They got a lot of great desks and chairs now
At the Government Center
Where they put the stamps on the letter

That's how I got my record collection in the 80s. Paul preferred to pay in albums vs. money 😹

Me too! My dad voted for Obama twice. He said the republicans had gone 'off-course'.

Dad was really angry about the Jan. 6th insurrection. He was an old-school republican voter, strong beliefs about law and order and (to his credit) justice. He thought trump's behavior was treasonous.

My dad fought the Nazis in WWII, survived D Day. He passed away in 2022 and right now I'm happy he died before he had to see this headline.

Ah, stop, you're making me nostalgic for the original Ragstock warehouse...

Yes, and as Sen. Sanders said, it's a totally meaningless gesture. You can get 100 votes here and it won't mean anything because the House is not going to take it up.

This is a terrible deal, the republicans will never honor it. Please twist arms on our side to keep them from caving!

Don't back down from this fight. Don't cave in. We are counting on you to keep the pressure on until the republicans agree to fund healthcare!Thank you for representing us!
