An indie game development studio that creates narrative driven RPG supplements.
But they look fine? Outselling the Switch seems like success to me. RIP me if swoosh though.

This is very true in my experience. Honest feedback is worth 10x halfhearted "I like it" or the dreaded "I think it's fine."

Press Reset by Jason Schreier was really eye opening for me. There's some quote in there about how the game devs are all working overtime, and everyday they see the suits from the publisher next door walk out the door at 5 o'clock sharp.

For newbies, prep is really important, especially if you're not super comfortable with the game yet. But, that same prep can be a trap! TTRPGs are often about emergent narratives.

Don't be afraid to improvise with your players! A lot of new GMs get stuck telling "their" story. It's collaborative.

The "change" candidate has won almost every election the past couple of decades. Established Democrats just point to stats and say everything's fine. Meanwhile, people starve, lose jobs, go homeless, etc. We have a conservative party and a regressive party

Mamdani's really popular in Bushwick, but damn does it feel like no elected Democrat wants to touch him... Despite me feeling like his platform is the only viable future for the party.

The games industry has gone round of lay offs after lay offs. I don't get it. Usually, the worse the economy gets, the better games sell since they're some of the most cost effective entertainment out there. This just must be all for the quarterly reports before we really do slide into recession+

As I thought, intimidating. But really glad you're doing it! Thanks for the info :)

How'd you weather it? Soft sandpaper? I've always wanted to get into Gunpla builds but it feels so intimidating.
