Baby shower 🚿

Tula and her mom Rose-Tu enjoyed a splash under a warm shower. Asian elephants can drink up to 50 gallons of water per day, and they often swim and play in it too!

Trump and Musk’s illegal firings of federal workers aren’t about efficiency—they’re about money, chaos, and control. Federal workers protect our natural wonders, health, safety, and rights, and I’m defending our public servants against these billionaires on a power trip.

They're not even trying to hide it anymore. They're coming for Social Security.
BREAKING: Trump's billionaire Commerce Secretary says that seniors won't care if they don't get their Social Security checks — and that anyone who does complain is a fraudster.

Trump’s Ukraine policy reads like Putin’s dream for a Russian asset:

✔️Spread propaganda that Ukraine started the war
✔️Cut off military aid
✔️Block intel sharing
✔️Demean Zelenskyy in the Oval Office
✔️Weaken US alliances with Europe

Who benefits? Putin. Who loses? Us.

Canadian author Louise Penny cancelled all her US appearances. Arizona travel bureau reports numerous cancellations of tourist groups of Canadians. Canadians with winter homes in AZ are selling and refusing to return to the US. I support all Canadian boycotts of the US. Elections have consequences.

Call it the Trump era’s new normal, where members of Congress fight like toddlers on the House floor while Putin gloats over the greatest self-own in modern history. It’s a golden age, of bunk.

Trump’s Golden Age of Bunk
In a Castro-length speech to Congress, the President claimed victory, while proving that even the most unhinged address can be boring if it goes on long enough.

The line is not between left and right, liberal or conservative.

The line is between democratic citizens and a fascist movement, between defenders of an evidence-based worldview and people who try to replace it, between human rights and human atrocities, between freedom for all and serfdom for most

I saw an RV at Catalina State Park yesterday with license plates from British Columbia. If the owners had been around, I would have apologized.

When will the former presidents speak out against the actions of Donald Trump? Are they afraid of retaliation?

Glad to be an Oregon resident with Ron Wyden, Jeff Merkley, and Val Hoyle representing me in Congress.
