I keep wondering if the people pitching this are thinking of those holograms of Superman's parents (traditional, not Gunn version) that accompanied him to earth because they couldn't. You know, the ones that often made him sad in the stories because they were limited and not real? "Let's make that!"

I miss my dad and brother. As I get older I'll miss more people as they pass. This seems like it will either feel hollow and awful or fundamentally detach you from core parts of the human experience.

3. This thing is just set up for misuse by abusive exes and guys who can't take no for an answer. How hard will it be to make a version of the partner who left or the crush who rejected them? And what will it do to their sense of reality? Likely will endanger the object of their obsession.
