Haven’t been outside of Touro in almost a month. I got out twice today! Rehab had a parade. Then they took us to the parades! I get to go home tomorrow and start outpatient on Ash Wednesday. I can walk with a walker for long distances. Just need to walk without it next. #guilanebarre

Day 20-something I’ve been at Touro. Rehab is going well. I have another 8 days before I go home and start outpatient. Guillian Barre is crazy. I can feel my feet, but not my legs. Me and the floor are besties. 😂

Day 11 @touro. 1st day in rehab (PT/OT). Been through hell…guillian barre got me. Drs unsure how. Now on the road to recovery. 1st shower in 2 wks was amazing. WJ couldn’t figure out what was wrong with me. Touro did. My view is amazing.

9am this morning. 11pm last night. Everything is frozen in NOLA. 10 inches here. It’s so magical. I think it’ll be until Friday before we can go anywhere.

Birthday was Friday & spent the weekend crafting. Learned new things. Haven’t been creative since my mom died last April. It was good to do it again. Got a fresh haircut too.

Got my 1st tat today. From the heel is my late dad’s X, my late mom’s O, kid 1 middle X, kid 2 fancy O, hubby’s X. I’m in love with it. Didn’t pass out, only winced 2x. Yay!

8month old puppy in a cone is worse than a bull in a china shop. He’s so hyper. Full force out of his kennel into the double food/water bowls. I feel like I need flood protection from the tidal wave he caused. 😂

Finally worked up the nerve to schedule a tattoo. Small shop, she has a day job and does this after. She’s now rescheduled me for the 3rd time. Now it’s the 28th. I don’t want to lose my nerve before I freak out and not do it. It’s a memorial tat. Left to right, my dad, mom, kids, hub.

Went to Barrel Proof tonight. Decor was fun, music was 2 loud for conversations, drink was alright. Finding out they had a separate fryer and I could eat was amazing!! #glutenfree
