Haven’t been outside of Touro in almost a month. I got out twice today! Rehab had a parade. Then they took us to the parades! I get to go home tomorrow and start outpatient on Ash Wednesday. I can walk with a walker for long distances. Just need to walk without it next. #guilanebarre

Day 20-something I’ve been at Touro. Rehab is going well. I have another 8 days before I go home and start outpatient. Guillian Barre is crazy. I can feel my feet, but not my legs. Me and the floor are besties. 😂

Rest day in rehab. 2 falls yesterday 😤. But that just means I pushed my body harder. Guillan Barre is a bitch, but I’m attacking back.

Day 11 @touro. 1st day in rehab (PT/OT). Been through hell…guillian barre got me. Drs unsure how. Now on the road to recovery. 1st shower in 2 wks was amazing. WJ couldn’t figure out what was wrong with me. Touro did. My view is amazing.

3rd time in WJ hospital & it seems I may finally have some answers. Myelin sheath issues causing numbness/weakness/salty taste. MRI’s all came back clean. Lumbar puncture tomorrow. Hopefully a diagnosis soon. This has been crazy.

My hubs decided to get solar panels last summer. They’re finally hooked up. What we didn’t expect is the insulation now makes our 2nd fl 100° in winter and downstairs in the 50s. I’m dying. lol

Back in WJ ER. Legs and arms are super numb. Low Potassium and UTI still. I hope they can fix me this time and give me what I need when I leave, unlike last time. 😤

I drank a bottle of pedialite in a day. Everything still tastes off and I’m still miserable. I want snow Tuesday, but that’s an important dr appt for me. 😭

I’m so exhausted. Spent Monday night at WJ for dehydration and other things. Still taste salt. Still don’t want food, drinks still taste weird. Idk what to do and seems no Dr does either. 😭

The woman that answers the phone for @lcmc @ my Dr office sucks. I was trying to tell her my problem & instead of letting me finish, she kept cutting me off AND got pissy cause I asked her to listen instead of interrupting. Has anyone called me back? No. Try to schedule me an emergency appt? no 😭

Birthday was Friday & spent the weekend crafting. Learned new things. Haven’t been creative since my mom died last April. It was good to do it again. Got a fresh haircut too.
