I didn't dispute why they entered the war? It is both true that the US didn't enter the war specifically to stop the Nazis and that it is good to go to war with a Nazi state

It is historical fact that Germany Italy and Japan signed a defensive pact, making them allies. If you sign a defensive pact with Nazis, that makes you a Nazi. You're on the same side

That wasn't the implication. The point is that everyone seems to ignore all the messy details of fighting the Nazis (and the Japanese empire we're Nazis cuz they allowed with Nazis) except for the nuke
