Honestly I think its okay to refer to yourself in a gender-appropriate way even before starting transition, eg referring to yourself as a girl when you were a child. I know for me I was a girl, whether I knew it then or not is mostly irrelevant and using this language has been more affirming for me

Adding and removing hair was a huge part of early transition for me and honestly made a bigger impact in the early stages. Esp when it comes to permanent removal I agree this is more "dangerous" (has potential for regret) than hrt. But if you're getting that done you already know who you are

Of course theirs a lot else here with their sexual attraction to trans people and shame about that, etc etc but I think the core of the issue is control.

They want to be broadening their persecution, not limiting it. Questioning gender roles affects their attack on women and threatens their glorious nazi future.

Gender being biological reinforces the "logic" behind the boxes. Women, not individuals, are emotional, weak, etc. If it is a construct, you have to see the person as an individual, not just a demographic. Extrapolate that and you have admit not all immigrants are criminals, etc

They want babies that fit in the right boxes and they want their houses tended to and meals made by someone they can also use as a sex toy. They want to feel as if they have a loving family while retaining total control over the individuals in that family. Family is another box.

On racial lines we see this in how they talk about black and brown people, Muslims, Jewish people, etc. Their arguments are these people are criminals _by nature_. Not people, just walking demographics. Possibly the largest demographic being women.

If you're seeing yourself in that, here's a queer woman's take: the right wants to squeeze us all in as few boxes as they can. Woman, white, non-christian. They then take the people in the boxes they don't like and kick them to the curb or use them to further their agenda, usually both

I think how we survive this includes feeling our feelings and taking care of ourselves. Sometimes that means letting yourself panic

I appreciate this take and trying to make sure we're taking care of our mental health but I fear this is more of a "things are bad and it's okay to feel bad" moment. I don't know how much good we're doing by telling people not to panic during these extremely distressing events
