Good for no body. More talent for the rest of the world but we are all better if the US is functioning and sensible.
I feel for you guys!
You've likely seen the new $100,000 penalty on high-skill immigrant workers.

Here's the next, separate bomb the White House is dropping on high skill immigration, to be officially published *tomorrow*.

tl;dr: Most H-1Bs now inaccessible for entry-level jobs, e.g. new grads from US universities.

On the website the deactivate button does not work on any browser
Tried to #deactivateX act keeps giving me an error

Going to have to check out my passwords - but don’t see that yet

Anyway - happy tuesday

Exactly. Progressive USians are told constantly that the right are dumb and can't read - and yet, the right have been consistently developing their plan from Julius Evola, Deng Xiaoping, Aleksandr Dugin, Vladislav Surkov, dumbed down into Curtis Yarvin, and implementing it since the 1970s.

.
The Democratic Party is a lost cause. Not to mention I don’t understand how the Republicans executed a flawless 60 year plan to end democracy and the Democrats somehow have no plan. Almost like they’re paid to lose by the richest people in the world or something.

If we want privatisation to be removed from the NHS, NHS campaigners like me have a *lot* of work to do next year and…I’d just like to see if people care enough about this for our campaigning to work…

If you’re a Guardian or Observer reader, please share this. The need for a strong, free & independent press couldn’t be greater. Yet, here it is.

1/ We're experiencing a huge influx of users, and with that, a predictable uptick in harmful content posted to the network.

As a result, for some very high-severity policy areas like child safety, we recently made some short-term moderation choices to prioritize recall over precision.
