As a fan of the metric system (which I find logical and satisfying) I find it odd that in the imperial system, a big glass is measured in units of volume whereas it seems smaller glasses are in units of weight? Did I get that right?

Anyway I’ll drink to the quirkiness of it!

Does anyone know what will happen with those titles now? Will there be a new Duke of York, Earl of Inverness etc?

Chausson aux pomme. Best thing ever.

That’s a good definition of corruption but it has a flaw - it presupposes that the person has a moral compass to start with. I suspect Graham had one once but it was broken by an man who never had one at all. Graham’s pal McCain would be ashamed of what he has become.

I was wondering when someone would come up with a way of bringing the deep dish pizzas into it. Bravo sir!

We have an old cliched truism: “You can take the man out of the bog, but you can’t take the bog out of the man”.

Duck
Apparently when I say that word it sounds like I’m saying dog

This is a great start. The one flaw is that a person who is 10 times stupider and 10 times more evil than everyone else would look like a centrist.

I would love to see good/evil and smart/stupid on different axes and then you could portray good time/bad time with icons/shapes.

That was a great retort

Do we have any idea what percentage of that is in payroll costs (which I suppose would translate into some smaller amount of taxes they the IRS won’t now be receiving)?

Do you think those original basilicas have any connection with the first name?

The name Basil II is seared into my consciousness since I read of the “one eye in one hundred” battle against the Bulgars over a thousand years ago now. It’s an old name.

What would our food be without immigrants and cultural appropriation.
Just potatoes in my case.
Oh wait? 🤔

Do you get the tax benefits of being a church? That would be worth something!

I am fairly sure that with a bit of effort, you can get it to work for your use case. Honestly if I can do it, you can too. Worth a try anyway.

Hi Michael
I am in my 50s and this time last year couldn’t code, at all (except sql). Since July I have become really good at it - in python and another language. I use Cursor and Claude 3.5 sonnet. I basically show it what I have, explain what I need and we iterate.
