Peter David’s comics were the first I read to feature gay characters in a positive light - a huge deal to me as a closeted gay youth - and his work had a unique humor and heart to it. Rest in peace, Peter - thank you for giving happiness to so many over the years!

I watch Savannah Bananas for the dancing and the uniforms. Which was very apparent when I tried using baseball terminology last night.
Me: I like that guy standing on that one base! That’s second base, right? The one behind… throw base?
Dwight: The pitcher’s mound?
Me: That name makes sense too.

This Mother’s Day my parents and Dwight’s mom met for the first time! Distance and circumstance prevented it up until now, but this year we finally came together to form an unstoppable force. And now ain’t nothing gonna break our stride! ❤️

The other day I was walking the halls on my break and thought everyone I passed was very obviously checking out my chest. I was like, “Ladies! I know the pecs are alluring, but my eyes are up here.” Then I realized they were really looking at my Administrative Professionals Day bling.

Earlier when trying to type “I have a big nerd crush,” my thumbs were off target so it came out as “I jave a bog nerd crish.” Which I sort of love. It’s giving Jabberwocky (‘twas brillig and the slivey toves) meets Sims (sul sul).
