Seems like a good time to point out that you can download from the library of congress, and it would be worthwhile to download probably as much as you can while you can

TikTok is back. Likely with a 90 day stay as news creators are reporting. TikTok was down for all of maybe 15 hours – which in my opnion was plenty of time to tweak the algorithm to something that is more favorable to the right wing. One of the First TikTok’s I saw on my renewed feed was AOC 1/4

Day 1: its a major loss of community and organizing for women and minorities - and whether or not the incoming administration “saves” it - despite calling for the ban back in 2020 - never forget these tech companies are all in it for profits

This upsets me for so many reasons - but the long term repercussions on creative industries is obvious: if the heads of studios and publishing companies bow to this these so called liberal industries will fall to censorship albeit a different kind called “we don’t have the budget”.
