Today was a good day. Started with a massage and progressed to a lovely stroll around the neighborhood. Some training and healthy exposures testing his comfort level and succeeding at every step. 🙌❤️🥰
Muzzled pup on a lead, sitting on a sidewalk with several peacocks behind him near a fence. He didn’t react to them one iota even after they caught his attention. 🙌 Pup (red in color with white blaze on his chest with more wrinkles on his face than you can count), standing up and looking just off to the side of the camera. Muzzle off for a break while we rest. Red colored pup all geared up. Still has innumerable wrinkles on his face. Wearing his muzzle, vest, signs on stating “do not pet”, and he remains on his slip lead. His face wrinkles nearly obscure the fact that he is staring me down while I’m playing photographer bc he is ready to GO. 😂 Also. Don’t pet other people’s pets without asking first. Respect the owners answer and the pets answer. Finally…For the love of GAWD if you see a dog outfitted like this do NOT suddenly crouch down and simultaneously make eye contact with them while their owner is paying for goods. You’ll find out exactly why the dog has all the tools in place to keep you both safe. Same dog as pictured before. Red skin/coat. Wrinkly face. Muzzle on. Brown/hazel eyes intently staring at the picture taker (me). Still on the lead. He got treats because he protected his space respectfully and immediately regulated and had a fantastic outing.

Red wrinkly faced dog standing over a big black shepherd-mix dog who is baring her teeth. Red dog has no sense of personal space and is licking black dogs face. Black dog pretends to hate it but loves it. Hence the teeth bare…but she immediately returned the kisses. 🤦‍♀️

The mountain is OUT today. Mt. Hood looking beautiful in her new blanket of snow. 🥰🫶
Blue sky with wispy linear clouds that meet a horizon with a prominent Mt. hood just offset to the right of center. In the foreground the Columbia River takes center stage, flanked to the left with a fading fall treescape of yellow leaves which have mostly fallen, some bare branches, and some evergreen trees are seen. There is also a thin slice of an empty shoreline with some docks and boats as a reminder of the summertime fun that graces the waters. ❤️

My wife and I just held court in the living room. She alleged this innocent sweet child relocated her shoe from one room to another.

My debate made her agree that there was reasonable doubt in her theory and two other suspects were on scene.

My best friend knew I was struggling and sent me a care package. Several friends have reached out to me this week just to check in. I really hit the lotto with my inner circle, folks. I promise I’ll regenerate enough spoons to give back someday.
