Playing more Tormented Souls 2 today was fun, I love this game.

This is where Tormented Souls 2 really succeeds, because while the original game was set in a single location akin to the first Resident Evil, the sequel is set in a town and has several distinct locations linked by a small hub area, and the art design went absolutely hog wild on these areas!

If you've not heard of either Tormented Souls games before, they are both deliberately oldschool Survival Horror experiences that feature fixed camera angles with gorgeous environments, (optional) tank controls, lots of puzzles, somewhat clunky combat, and gloriously B-movie cheese kinda plots.

Playing a bit more Whiskerwood this morning, which I am very glad I'm making time for, very Timberborn-esque mouse city builder, though I've ended up in a little bit of a death spiral in my first playthrough and I wasn't prepared for how the little mice crawled around when they're sick :(
