I’m finally giving up on Alighieri’s /The Divine Comedy/; I made it to Canto 13 of “The Purgatorio.” It’s just dreadfully repetitive. I need a bit more plot with my allegory.

“ and turning our stern toward morning and our bow toward night, we bore southwest out of the world of man; we made wings of our oars for fools flight” from D. Alighieri’s /The Divine Comedy/ describing Ulysses sailing away from Greece, southward. I’d rather it be upward into the night sky.
