I can't fault the people who hated him.
I can see why others admired him.

I'm sorry his family is experiencing this grief today.

I think they, too, would say that it's complicated.

As someone who is fiercely proud of being from Wyoming (& experiencing a complicated relationship with that heritage), I felt pride in seeing the Cowboy State strongly represented in DC.

He was also a divisive man whose decisions led to the deaths of too many American service members.
