If AOC went with the Mamdani playbook, meeting people and getting them direct answers to their problems instead of centrist horseshit, if she's willing to take the gloves off with the fash, I fully believe she could win. Sexism is an issue, but people sail against headwinds all the time.

I mean, I'm a big fan of anti-nationalism, don't get me wrong. Einstein was right to call it an infantile disorder. The problem I keep running into is whether the descendants of the colonists should be shipped back to Europe.

I'm gonna be honest, I kinda feel the same way about decolonialist discourse. When you ask for a concrete set of actions to take in pursuit of decolonization in the 21st century, half the time you get ethnic cleansing but woke.

If you live in rural areas, having a personal vehicle is a godsend not likely to be replaced with anything, and high-power trucks are very useful. I do share your disdain for the pavement princess trucks and do think cars shouldn't be let into even semi-urban zones, though
