This is what I ride here in SoCal for night rides: Lectric XP 3.0 LR with extra battery and cargo baskets with panniers. Range is at least 60 miles with heavy pedal assist.

I visited three different farmers market this week (would’ve been 4, but one was closed due to holidays) only by e-bike and it was great. Cargo baskets and panniers come in handy. Not having to drive everywhere is a great experience and helps keep me connected with society.
