I wrote an article aimed at newbie kids' book authors about hiring illustrators/book production, and took a photo of all the books I have done for clients this year. Seeing them all piled up this morning made me feel good. Needed that. Been feeling kinda lost lately. These are my books. I made them.

On my walk this morning, I saw a crow just standing in the middle of the street with a cigarette butt hanging out of its beak. I yelled at it "Hey! Spit that out, it's bad for you!" AND IT DID. I cannot make this stuff up.

I was just looking at a photo of a camel and it struck me that sometimes an animal looks exactly as strange as its skeleton suggests. This has implications for paleo art.
