Hence why I use 11/32 arrows…

It was mainly luck. Roughly one out of 4 arrows hit.

Sometimes you just have to shoot them in the mouth heart and dick

It is brass, but it’s a weird alloy that turned copper colour when I annealed it

That does look like an excellent way to spend a day.
Hopefully you returned home with more arrows than I did the last time I went 3D shooting
