So I want you literary types to ask yourselves: what is a REAL writer? Just someone who toes the corporate line and “produce content” for publishers? Is that what we are, content developers?

Rupi Kuar—unlike many Pulitzer or NBA-winning poets—has actually takes a stand against genocide. She is more of a real poet and writer than a lot of clowns published by Faber or teaching in the Ivy League because she takes the role of public intellect seriously. Most writers now act like ad salesmen
Someone said Rupi Kaur is the Kenny G of poetry and I think this is the fairest, and the most accurate assessment of her work.
