I guess I should clarify, this is what "poke faces" does! left is default cylinder (with N-gon fill; triangle fan does the same thing); right is with the middle N-gon selected and "poke face" done on it.

(... maybe this is why it's always confused me, like why isn't it just called "triangle fan"?)

Hi bluesky! Got a question for #Blender super users - any ideas why a seemingly-normal object would send the camera catapulting into the stratosphere when pressing F to focus, like this? Already applied transforms, restarted Blender, "cube clean" (make new cube, join, delete cube). Thanks!

One of my favorite things for this scene is stylizing real-world stuff - here's my interpretation of a WA native plant called a Mountain Pasqueflower. I think this makes the end product more compelling vs. just making a generic flower!

Working on a new scene in UE5, in a more stylized Overwatch-esque direction, and I think I'm getting somewhere! You may recognize these rocks from the other day :) Still super WIP though.

I also made the art for the achievement stickers in the game -- my first job out of college was in graphic design, and I learned a lot of Illustrator there.

And here's a close-up of a Dot trying on a VR headset cosmetic (which I also concepted + made a bit ago)... looks like that unlocked an achievement sticker on the right there huh!

Here's an example of the module system with a different module in it - this one shows the "vending machine" where you can buy cosmetics using in-game currency.

I designed + made all of this, including that little pillow the Dots hang out on to preview cosmetics (which I love so much)!
