Glow yarn granny square sweater is the Halloween project. I knew I wouldn’t finish in time but I’m further along than I expected to be.

Alright. I made a silly crochet thing and have the energy to do alt text and credit the pattern writer today.

Did a thing and picked up some baby carnivorous plants. Picture for posterity if I end up immediately killing these. My luck with plants is maybe 50/50

Making pin loom squares because despite having bigger projects I’d like to finish the silly rainbow cat (and frog) scarves left me with so many partial balls of yarn I wanted to use them up as *something.* Hoping I’ll have enough for a top at the end

Rainbow beret made with leftovers from the silly rainbow vomit scarves. It’s surprisingly warm. (I’m seeing the auto white balance is weird in the first image but I’m not in the mood to fuss with it, but colors not quite true to life)

I realized I never posted the finished rainbow vomit cat scarf. It’s ridiculous and also indicative of why large projects take me so long to finish as I get distracted by silly little things.

Previously mentioned amigurumi-ish project in progress. It does not bring me joy. I will finish it, and it will be cute, but it is also evidence that just because you can make a thing it’s not always worth it.

Rainbows for my sister

Still working on the pink cabled sweater and progress is slow but steady. I finished the back panel and have a couple inches left of the front panel before I begin the armhole shaping.

Back to the pink cabled sweater, the winter weather does have my hands stiff but I’m going to try and chip away at it as I’m able.

Haven’t posted anything craft related for a minute because a flare has my hands stiff and uncooperative, but my nose has been constantly frozen since winter temperatures started so I’m using up some faux fur yarn to make a silly fuzzy cowl. Hopefully I can pull it up over my nose and thaw it out.

Working on a Cable sweater and this is as far as I’ve gotten on the back panel. The brain fog has hit so I’m wisely going to set this aside for something that takes less concentration and/or is less annoying to deal with if I mess up. Color’s a bit washed out from the lighting.

These little kids out trick or treating in the rain! I hope they like Halloween duckies cuz that’s what I’ve got

So now I’ve finally committed to turning it into a poncho for myself instead and frankly even as an adult this is a hefty thing to wear around but it’s also incredibly warm and soft. Wish me luck finishing it before I’ve hit a full year working on it

Here’s a story about a crochet project that’s been going since maybe spring? I started it as a baby blanket for my new niece but it turns out everyone made a blanket for that child and frankly 100% cotton is heavy and the pattern repeat became incredibly boring after a while.
